The Life of Glory

My bestie, Katie Lew, had baby #2 three weeks ago and I just got to meet her. She is already rolling over on her own and full of personality! And the beautiful Kaylee is growing up so fast! Katie and I used to dream about living close to each other and raising our kids together. Doesn't look like that is going to happen. Still, I wish I could be closer to spend more time with my besties and all these beautiful children I love so much! It's just not time for me to settle down I guess. God keeps moving me all over the place. Not that I'm complaining about my adventurous life, I just miss certain people. A lot. One day with some of them was just enough to make me want more!    Yep, they're definitely related to me! This was a rare afternoon I got with my biological nieces and nephew this year! I  used to read aloud to them when they were a lot smaller, but they'll have none of that now. So I put on Howl's Moving Castle instead. Emily, of course, has seen all the Hayao Miyazaki movies with me, since the poor girl was stuck with me and my "old fashioned" ways for a year! The other two, however, were experiencing the amazing imagination of this fantastic Studio Ghibli director for the first time! Pretty sure I got them hooked. Praying they grow up into adults I will be proud of!

 My Katie Lew is having baby #2:  I am one of those people who becomes Auntie to all of my friend's kids and I absolutely love it! This sleepy little girl was a bit less smiley and a lot bigger than the last time I saw her! I managed to capture a silly moment with Kaylee (who didn't want to smile for a picture) in a blurry, but adorable selfie. Her mom caught a great shot of us too! I do believe that was a baby Kaylee kiss I was getting there. Sweet girl! Love being her Aunt Kelly! Can't wait to meet Kenzie too!  Joyfully watching them grow up
